06 — Questions
Straight answers.
Do you give fixed prices?
Yes. After a survey you get a fixed written quote. If we find something unexpected once walls are open, we stop, show you, and agree any change in writing before carrying on.
Will I get a certificate?
Every notifiable job is certified and registered with building control through our scheme. Certificates are emailed to you the day the work is finished.
How much mess is there?
Less than you think. Dust sheets go down first, we vacuum as we go, and on rewires we make good the plaster so it is ready for decorating.
Do you charge for a call-out?
Daytime fault visits are £75 including the first hour. Evenings and weekends are £120. You are told the price on the phone, before anyone sets off.
Can you work with my letting agent?
Yes. We regularly arrange access through agents and send certificates to both the landlord and the agent.
